Move tool (V)

         With the help of move tool you can move your image. entire layer by dragging it with your mouse.You can use Keyboard arrow key to move you image in any direction. it located at the top of the Toolkit in photo shop.When the move tool is selected, click and drag anywhere in the image.

              
when we open photo shop then picture is locked therefore we cannot move picture, when any object or any picture cannot move then you can unlock the object and then you can move the object. to unlock the object you can just double click on the object.

How can We Use Move Tool ? 

Lets Start

• Select the part of the image you want to copy.
• In the Edit workspace, select the Move tool from the toolbox.
• With the help of mouse you can move selected part of the image.

How do you move a selection in Photoshop?

• Select the Move tool, or hold down Ctrl (Windows) to activate the Move tool.
• Hold down mouse left button, and drag the selection you want to copy and move.

How do you move an object in Photoshop?

The shortcut key for the Move Tool is 'V'. If you have the Photoshop window selected press V on the keyboard and this will select the Move Tool.Then click, hold and drag your mouse.

How do you move a layer in Photoshop?

1. Drag the layer or group up or down in the Layers panel.
2. To move a layer into a group, drag a layer to the group folder.
3. Select a layer or group, choose Layer > Arrange, and choose a command from the submenu.
4. To reverse the order of selected layers, choose Layer > Arrange > Reverse.

Shortcut for Move Tool

you can use your mouse to select Move Tool. if you don't want to use mouse then you can use Keyboard to select Move Tool by pressing on Keyword V on Keyboard.

Look at the options bar for the move tool. you turned off the "show transform controls" option.
